HOT HOUSE TURTLES SUNNING ISLAND

Hot House Turtles have designed their own Sunning Island! It has a length of 29cm and a basking width of 10cm (21cm including the steps). It's stability in the water allows Turtles with a shell length of up to 18cm the ability to bask without the Island sinking or tipping. The shallow steps allow easy access for the smallest of hatchlings to climb on and enjoy basking. The grid pattern also keeps the Turtles plastrons elevated to allow perfect drying of the shell which reduces the risk of Bacterial Shell Infections caused by Turtles shells not being allowed to dry. Complete with a strong suction cap to hold in place under the UV light, these Sunning Islands are simply the best for your Turtle. And they're made right here in New Zealand.
