LUCKY REPTILE
PRODUCTS

Hot House Turtles is New Zealands distributor of Lucky-Reptile
products. Following are descriptions of each Lucky Reptile product that
we distribute. Each product has been personally tried and tested by Hot
House Turtles.
The Lucky Reptile Compact UV Sun is a
consequent advancement of the compact UV lamps available on the market.
The lamp has a high UV performance sufficient for all reptile species, with UVB
being effective up to 50 cm distance of the lamp surface.
In addition the complete spectrum of the lamp has been improved, resulting in
warmer and more natural colours. A lot of consideration has also gone into the
quality of the product. Consequently the lamps are not produced in China
like most of the competition but in Europe by one of the leading UV specialists,
using only high quality components.
The Lucky Reptile Compact UV Sun can be used in all E27 sockets thanks to
the integrated ballast.
Only available in 15W in New Zealand. The advantage: lower power consumption and
shorter tubes but the same UV performance as 23W at the same distance from the
lamp.

Lucky Reptiles Herp Diner Insect Blend
contains large crickets, medium locusts and bamboo worms, offering a
nutritious and varied food to the animals. The addition of cuttlefish bone powder
ensures an increased calcium content and a positive calcium-phosphor ratio which is not
given in live insects.
The special cooking process preserves the nutrients and ensures a good acceptance. Lucky
Reptiles Herp Diner Insect Blend is suitable for all insect eating Reptiles and Birds. It
is perfect for Bearded Dragons and also larger Turtles.

Lucky Reptiles popular Herp Nursery ll
Incubator uses the 'Peltier technology' which enables the device to cool and to
heat its interior. This allows its use as incubator for reptile eggs but also for
hibernating reptiles.
The temperature range is approximately 5°C to 60°C.
The digital thermostat allows setting the temperature in 1°C steps. Please note:
The displayed temperature can vary a little from the actual temperature inside the device.
We recommend checking with Fluker's Digital Thermometer / Hygrometer.
The Herp Nursery II Incubator does not only have a large useable
space (25L), it also has a transparent door and interior lighting.
The greatest innovation is that the incubator can switch automatically between
cooling and heating mode. This means that it will also cool to keep the desired
temperature which can be very useful in summer when the higher outdoor temperature will
also cause the temperatures inside incubators to rise. The Herp Nursery II
Incubator prevents the loss of eggs from overheating as it will automatically cool to keep
the set temperature.
Please note: Due to the technology used the device has a certain
temperature deviation. It is not a professional incubator which will keep the set
temperature by the 0,1°C but an entry model for less delicate eggs, ie Red-eared Turtles,
Snake-neck Turtles, Reeve's Turtles, Bearded Dragons, Eastern Water Dragons, Mediterranean
Tortoises, and Leopard Geckos.
"I personally use these at Hot House Turtles
and find them brilliant. Simply set the temp, put your eggs in and walk
away. There is no risk of them over heating with the unique overheat cooling system."
